I tink i have just made this blog a monthly magazine....onli issue once a month,,hhahahah...no time lah...bz looking for new fishing gear...trying to fish at new spots...
Oh yah, i just got back from Pulau Sibu...went there for a 3day 2 nite fishing trip.....the trip was very interesting sia...met the kakis at jeff's place...first time meet him, our guide for the trip, very friendly person. We took a van down to a jetty somewhere in malaysia...waited quite long for the boat coz the tide quite low so the boat cannot go out....Finally when we got up the boat, everyone all sleepy already...wahahaha.....Jeff caught some sotong for us to fish...i onli fish for like 20 min then give up liaoz...haha....
Early morning we check in to the Coconut resort...Nv bluff...Its really called coconut..ahahah...maybe their vocab very limited... Nice place..very relaxing..Ate breakfast then went up boat liaoz...Woohoo... Time to start liaoz...had my shimano bassterra and my caldia kix ready to strike...then they say go trolling...wah kaoz, sianz..coz i dun have equipment to fish..See ah shiong equipment total cost more than 1k i sian liaoz..Merv wan also ard that range..wahaha...
Later, ah shiong let me take care of his set coz he wana go sleep liaoz....he see mervyn sleep till so shiok he also wana join...haha...i also very sleepy liaoz but not yet get fish so muz sit and wait..
Finallay give up liaoz....eyes closing liaoz...did not want to give up but no choice. So i reeled in the lure..
Suddenly, ZZZZZZZZZZZZ....the line went out....WOhooHooo!!!..Hook On!!..i also suddenly wake up...coffee also cannot compare to this...not even close...reeled the fish in...very strong sia the fish...then another 3 rod bend..wah....everyone also tiok liaoz...So happy when i saw the fish...WAH SEh...its a barracuda sia...my first..3.5kg leh...WooHooo!!...That was my one and onli catch for the whole trip...haiz..
Some of the other fishes caught were tenggiri, queenie, GT..not that bad lah...but expected more lor...The best times during the trip were the makan times...wahahaha...everywhere i go also think of makan only..the food there was great sia...nite time we sat and chatted bout fishes we caught before...i was the quietest coz got nuthing to brag bout..everyone catch 3 to 4 kg fish i onli catch 800grm onli...haha...but still fish wad..hahahahahaha
Overall i tink the trip was ok....jeff was a very good host coz he quite experienced..food was gd..got my barracuda..although i expected more...hmm....ok lah...next time will try other places..like TJ Pinang or Kuching...or maybe australia..hee hee...
